The centre is run by Bryony Collison who has spent a lifetime involved with horses. From an equestrian background, Bryony was a successful junior show jumper who was a member of one of the gold medal junior British show jumping teams.

She qualified and competed at the prestigious Horse of the Year Show and the Royal International Horse Show consistently over a five year period, being successfully placed in the line up on every occasion, both on a pony and also with a horse in the young riders class (young adults).

She then had a great opportunity and spent time training at the famous Cadre Noir in Saumur, France in both dressage and show jumping. She has had a vast experience with the breaking in and schooling of many different horses and ponies for a variety of equestrian disciplines and has had direct control over a riding establishment for over twenty years.

Bryony is a dedicated instructor, who has been teaching for many years and although keen to make sure your ride is a positive and pleasurable experience also makes sure that you get value for money and strives to make sure your riding and understanding improves and progresses. She is known for being extremely patient and encouraging with children and adults of all ages and abilities. Total beginners are always welcome at Ballahimmin.

At present we offer trekking/ hacking out over the hills and lessons in our outdoor sand arena, an indoor school is currently under construction and will be completed over the next few months.
