It has been in operation for the past fifteen years and is in an ideal location for pony trekking as we offer riding over one hundred acres of hill land, all completely off road. At the height of summer with vibrant shades of purple heather covering the hills and clear skies with views across the Irish Sea to the Mountains of Mourne and the Mull of Galloway in Scotland there is no better way to view the spectacular Manx countryside, than on horseback covering these unspoilt areas, inaccessible by car. The peace and tranquility is only interrupted by an abundance of wildlife; the distinctive sound of the Curlew, a sighting of a Hen Harrier or seeing hares ‘boxing' in Spring can be often witnessed whilst out trekking. The safety and enjoyment of our customers is of paramount importance. Full instruction is given at all times where necessary and beginners are most welcome. For the more experienced riders there can be the opportunity for trotting and cantering depending upon assessments of riders capabilities. We are always suitably equipped to take out mixed ability treks with trained guides to accommodate all levels of riding experience. A visitors book has been set up and there are positive comments from people who have been riding with us, from all over the world. This is an activity that can be enjoyed by the whole family, children are accepted from as young as four years old and we are always prepared to walk on foot and have ponies on lead reins where required. This really is a great family holiday experience. We have a wide range of horses and ponies to suit all standards and abilities, which have been professionally chosen for their temperament and suitability. We are dedicated to making sure you enjoy your trekking experience. All treks need to be booked in advance with full details of riders given at time of booking.
